It's been quite some time since this blog was brought into fruition, and unfortunately due to schedule conflicts, big changes, and MetroGypsy's busiest studio season to date, it has sat on the back burner for far too long.
BUT, the good news is, as the holidays approach and the hustle begins to quiet, there will be a down time to grow a renewed focus of interest in using this blog not only to share MetroGypsy's work as I originally intended, BUT, to really show you the what the street's of NYC are doing, and even more importantly as many have asked for, what they're wearing!
Everyday as I walk down the streets of New York City, I see women and men wearing everything from dirty hipster garb to high brow couture, more flannel than you can count, and upcycled legging to YSL, it's an amazing, vibrant and fantastic experience. Too often I've reached for my camera thinking, "What's she's got on, I need to rememeber that, be inspired by that, and I want to show it to others", and too often, I put the camera down without snapping that glorious moment up. Well, lost moments are NO more!
I'm planning to renew this blog, with a strong, dedicated focus on live fashion, on the street interviews, new designer trips and beautiful photos. Be it fashion week or just another Friday, I'll be stopping people who catch my eye and sharing their amazing look with you, and right off the street hot photos, truly giving you a first hand glimpse of the people, places and many fashion looks of New York City!
Keep your eyes peeled as I wheel into ThanksGiving weekend and the holiday season with a few photos to light the way into what promises to be a great New Years!
